Susquehanna Driving Academy is a green Academy..meaning we try to leave the least amount of a carbon footprint on this planet as possible by re using & recycling- paper, oil, tires, metals, ink cartridges, etc. Our facility has brand new cctv and cameras for the safety of our students and property. We also have a on premises practice area!
SDA currently has a Automatic 2013 Toyota Corolla which is very good on gas but we have plans to upgrade to a better more fuel efficient car in the near future..STAY TUNED!
Obtaining a learner's permit at the MVA
As part of meeting the requirements to get your Maryland learner’s permit or driver’s license, you must take a knowledge test and correctly answer 22 out of 25 questions, to achieve the required passing score of 85%. Once you pass the knowledge test, a vision test, and meet any other requirements, you can receive your learner’s instructional permit. This is for any driver of any age who has not had a noncommercial driver’s license before. You must be 15 years and nine months old, at least, to apply for your learner’s instructional permit, and once you receive it, it is valid for a maximum of two years. The fee for a learner’s instructional permit is $50. This cost includes the conversion to a full license when the time comes, so you will not have to pay again. This practice test will help succeed on the Maryland knowledge test as it contains information straight from the 2018 Maryland Driver’s Manual.
A driver education course is designed to teach new drivers fundamental skills and basic knowledge about driving a motor vehicle. All Maryland MVA licensed and approved driver education schools are required to use MVA-approved standardized curriculum and all instructors are licensed by the MVA.
